Any good tips on getting a Job at Hot Topic?

Question

I really want and need a job over the summer break next year (2009) at Hot Topic. I'll be sixteen by then.

If anyone has any good tips or suggestions I should consider taking, about:

-what will be asked/how do I answer in an interview

-what to do, what not to do

-what should I know about

-how I should fill out my application

-how to present my resume (I haven't had a job before)

-how to present myself

-etc.

If you have worked there before, or are working there, please help me out.

I just need any advice/tips/suggestions to make it more likely to get a job there.

-Show them how SCENE you are

Just look kinda punk and not sound like a pot head.

Definately just be yourself. I've known 4 different people that have been employed at Hot Topic. That's really the best advice I can give you, it worked for them. Good luck.

Do not try to act emo or goth or whatever, the managers can totally see through that and you'll end up s******g your own self over. I knew this totally preppy flamboyantly g*y guy that worked there - he made it up to assistant manager. Just do you.
