  1. ive looked into this some years ago when i really started taking an intrest in horse racing i wanted to try everything myself even though i was advised that 99% of tipsters are a waste of money and as ive found out this is almost true and the reason i say almost is because it all boils down to common sense willpower and knowledge first of all ive got to tell you im no expert but if you take into account what loanshark says above and you now how to read form ,you understand weights and distance and the going and on top of this you can steer clear of out of form jockeys and trainers then you can narrow the field down its hard and i takes patience and experience. Now you want to now about racing tipsters? there are decent ones bad ones and VERY BAD ONES the latter are just out to rip you off once you use a racing tipster then you your personal infomation is shared between all of them despite what you say or what box you tick and its when the very bad ones get hold of your phone number or address that you have to BEWARE such as a company whom earlier this year were named in the racingpost they were called THE #### ####AND RACING CLUB WHO ran a scam contacting people with a big tip say 5/1 for example they want you to put 2k on this tip so you will make 10k all they ask for in payment for the information is what you were told to stake which is 2k so your quids in with 10k they are with 2k whats the scam ?  well what they have done is rang hundreds of people giving everyone different horses in the same race so which ever horse wins they are going to make a profit and alot of people are going to loose alot of money so beware but ther are some decent tipsters out there that wont rip you off the best ones are performance related so if there selections arnt winning then your not paying the way i worked with tipsters was not to believe everything they tell you say you get on average 3 horses a week that doesnt mean you have to back them use your own jugement and weigh up the odds every now and again a hot tip floats round and if your with the right tipster he or she will tell you this is a very strong bet or they will say double up on this or connections are 99% sure this will win today and hand on heart when ive heard this from the tipster i was with then  i can honestly say the tips ALWAYS WON  but these genuine tips are very rare and if the tipster you use is out of form then you will be out of pocket thats why you should alwats make your own judgement and as for systems well i have heard of a few but have never tried them such as the ones on betfair or there is one were you back two horses in the same race if i was you i would stay away from them so IF YOUR STILL AWAKE i no everyone else reading this isnt ! take my advice stick with your own choices and think twice before you pay anyone any money .

  2. Consider only non handicap races with nine or less runners. Not sellers. Forecast favourite must be evens or better. Stake one tenth of betting bank. Avoid Cheltenham and Royal Ascot.
