  1. Dim Tai Fung in Paragon maybe?

It's a Taiwanese Dim Sum place. Not all of the food are dim sum type. There're like noodles, fried rice, etc. Basically a chinese restaurant. I guess $25/person should cover everything. Crystal Jade is good too. But maybe it's too often already?

What about Japanese? There's a great j*p restaurant on the 4th floor, if I'm not wrong (the level with all the restaurant). It's "Tonkichi". Mostly it's Japanese bento food (seafood, tonkatsu, curry). But they're are best! I've been to lots of j*p restaurants in Spore and none of them compare to Tonkichi! ^_^ Price ranging from... $18-$30 max. Great food and great ambiance. There's one below Lido as well, but I'd suggest the one in Takashimaya. It's nicer.

I remember there's this Japanese/Thai restaurant in... Wheelock... abover Borders... But I can't remember the name. Most of the food is noodles... Might want to check that out.

Don't have any suggestion for Malay food or Indonesian in S'pore, but you may want to opt out Sanur. It's slightly overpriced and the taste isn't that great either. Trust me. I'm Indonesian, so I should know. ;)

That's it then... Hope that help! Have a nice gathering!

  2. Well, there are a few choices

    1)Sake Sushi

    2)Crystal Jade

3)This resturant at Good Wood Park (Dim Sum)

Well thats all I can think of but I'm sure that theres some more resturants in Orchard road!

  3. erm... crystal jade restaurant? there's one in Ngee Agee City

  4. go down to Tiong Bahru and have a  fish_head s steamboat .. its inexpensive  when there is a group eating and the experience can be fun and casual ..

  5. ayam penyet restaurant (soft bones chicken). its an indonesian restaurant in Lucky plaza level 1.. i forget the number alr but you can ask the information center... its d**n very nice and quite cheap. the chicken + tempe+tofu+rice only $5.50... if you n ur friend like to eat spicy, they have free chilli there specially home made.. yummmmyyyyy...... till i cant stop eat it.... but if you dun really like spicy, make sure you put some kecap manis ( sweet soya sauce).... the dessert for sure is ice chendoll.. only $3.. ALSO YUMMMMYYY.... have a go buddy... njoy....
