  1. The vegetarian fast food restaurant in Pasadena is called Orean the Health Express.  It is really good!  The only problem is that it is drive thru/walk up only.  There are a couple of tables outside though.   http://www.oreanshealthexpress.com/

  2. A lot of Indian restaurants have a wide variety of vegetarian dishes. Depends on your taste though.

  3. I don't know of any actual vegetarian restaurants in Montclair, Chino Hills or Rancho Cucamonga, but there some in the east San Gabriel Valley. One World Vegetarian Cuisine in West Covina is my favorite. I also like Covina Tasty, a "fast food" style place in Covina. Occasionally I eat at the Veggie & Tea House in San Dimas.

In Pasadena, the only vegetarian restaurant is Orean, which was been mentioned. Besides Happy Family, nearby restaurants I like include Bean Sprouts in Arcadia and

    Tea Shaker in El Monte.

There are dozens of restaurants to choose from in LA.

-India Sweets and Spices on Los Feliz (Atwater Village area)

-Green Leaves, another vegan-thai place (on Hillhurst in the Los Feliz area)

    -Paru's Indian on Sunset

-Truly, a Thai-vegan restaurant on Hollywood Bl

    -Rahel Eithopian on Fairfax

    -Native Foods in Westwood

-The Vegan Joint on National in West LA

    . . . are all restaurants I like.

  4. ooh!  there is an awesome vegetarian (possibly vegan) drive thru/fast food place in pasadena on north lake ave.  you can get veggie chili cheese dogs.  they are killer!

  5. My favorite is Happy Family. It's vegan Chinese food. The restaurant is in Monterey Park on Atlantic Blvd. at Garvey Ave. (in a big shopping complex on the northwest corner). The food is fairly inexpensive. Service is decent. It's very clean (esp. considering it's MPk!). If you go between 11:30am and 8:30pm, you have the "all you can eat option" where they take your order in rounds. Each round, everyone gets two choices. Plates are smaller, but you get to try so many more things. The "House Special Chicken" (#522 on the main menu) is made from mushrooms, and it is absolutely addictive!!!
