Any good warm-up routines to use before I play tennis?

Is there anyone out there that knows a great tennis routine to get my body worked up? I'm really getting into tennis, and would like to find out a good routine. Thanks

  1. Before you do any strenuous activity it's a good idea to do stretches to warm up your body so you don't injure yourself. Here's a site with a LOT of stretching exercisies on it:

    http://www.ovphysio.com/stretchg/tennis/... pick and choose lol I play tennis and I probably don't do enough stretches though some of them would look funny on a court i think. I'd probably do 2, 8,9 and 12 if i was warming up at the court. If you feel like stretching before you leave home though then there's no reason you can't do more.

  2. before my tuornaments i hit a little to get y muscles warm. but if ur just hitting for fun i would just do some basic streches, and a little short jog.
