  1. preschooleducation.com

    everythingpreschool.com

    starfall.com

  2. http://www.starfall.com

    http://www.letteroftheweek.com

  3. You don't need a website.  You need crayons, paper, and maybe children's scissors.  Have her draw them.  You make them in block letters and have her practice using scissors by cutting them out.

  4. I suggest getting the CD-ROM: Dr Seuss' ABC (The Learning Company). It's the best ABC aid I've used: fun, humorous and effective. You can get it on Amazon for less than a dollar.

  5. http://www.wittybitworld.com/wrksheets.a... - this website you can print them out.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PrWJ-rC4Y... - i know its on youtube, but it teaches the letters pretty good, and just haveing her look at books is good to.

  6. Make an alphabet chart with pictures next to it, esp. animals, that way you can point out the alphabet as you sing along w/her and ask her what is this animal, what sound does it make, and what letter does the animal begin with and let her point it out.

  7. Here's a cute one I like:

The letters appear and then when you click on the capital letter, a 'mom' voice says the name, and when you click on the lower case letter, a 'child' voice says is.  Awwww... Lots of the really cute games out there are a little overwhelming when they're very first starting to memorize the letters.

A good way to help her learn is to involve as many of her senses as possible.  Little kids love to touch stuff!  One thing we did for our kids was to get those magnetic letters that go on the fridge, and pick a 'letter of the day', which they would carry around in their pocket.  We'd trace it with our fingers, trace around it onto paper, make it out of playdough, fingerpaint it. Throughout the day, try and remember to match it with the same letters we saw on signs, in books or just around the house.
