I totally agree that dafont.com is THE place to go for free fonts.

But myfonts.com is a spectacular site to use. Price-wise, it runs the gamut from free to $5-$20 to font families for $300++. What's great is the way they break the fonts out and the SAMPLES. Oh, I love the samples - people upload their work so you can see real-world use of the fonts. Plus there is font history and all kinds of info.

Probably more than you need if you just want something cute for your myspace page, but if it's for serious work - it's the place to go.
