Any great songs to play for talent show that aren't too difficult?

Question

School is starting and my buddies and i want to play this year. Are there any cool, little easy songs we can play? I have played guitar for a year and piano for 5. I would be playing guitar, i want a song that will definately take practice but won't require 5 hours of practice every night. Perferably a rock n' roll, or metal song. Like black sabbath, or van halen, nirvana, you know.... the classics

Canon Rock, It isn't too hard. It only took me a week to learn but around half a year to master?

Maybe some other instrumental type of song, Dethklok songs aren't that hard (just its all in C standard).

If not like that then do ERUPTION!...or Power Rangers lol. I'm serious, Power Rangers or some video game music like Tetris.
