Any help!? Australia Immigration

Hello everybody

I am from Sri lanka and I am going to Australia in about 4 months.I have a lot of doubts but I am asking you only some for which I hope you"ll give me an answer.

1.I am average in my English(not my mother tongue).can I understand what they teach while they teach ??

2.How tough is the Studies over there in Australia??

3.what can I do to improve my English.

1/ If you have average english, you will be able to understand of course.

2/ Studies in what??  Depends on what you are looking at

3/ Read about english, talk in the language, study some form of english books/ look on the internet, plenty out there

If you're studying in a normal Australian university course, you will have difficulty if your English is only average. If your course is in secondary school, you will have less trouble as there should be special assistance for new students.

The quality of Australian secondary and tertiary education is high and most courses are fairly difficult, particularly if your English is only average. At university, lecture notes are usually provided, but assignments may present a problem until your English improves.

You should come early and do a short, intensive English course before your other course begins.
