Any help for a cartoon magazine?

A bunch of cousins and I are making a magazine? Do you need to have some kind of license for it? Do you need to get it copyrighted? Does anyone have any ideas for it? Its a cartoon magazine with all sorts of stuff in it. Its more like a 6-10 year old magazine but its really funny and I really want to do it. I think it would be fun and a challenge too. Please answer...

it depends on if u are getting all your ideas from your head cuz me and my friends made a simi comic when something happened in class and it was funny but ya u need it copyrighted and may u vote me the best ansewr thnks
