Any help on boosting my grades up?

Question

I just got my report card for the end of year and its okay...

I got

Art-D

Biology-B

Chemistry-B

Drama-C

English-B

Maths-C

GCSE PE-D

Physics-B

RE-A

BUT

I need help on how to bring those grades up.

I find it really hard to sit down and revise.

Any help?

You have to organize your study habits. Prepare a week before the exams. What i Usually do when I was in my Secondary schooling, I always refer to my notes every after discussion. Try it and it will work. Whenever you are free, just stay with your notes and try to read them and confirm them from a text book. Sometimes, teachers makes mistake so it is beneficial to always refer to various books whenever possible.

Try hanging out in the library where you can read focusly and understand your lessons in depth. Before you sleep, you must have stuffed informatios in your head. Relax and sleep tight after. Then After waking up early, try to scan your notes again. they will be retained in your mind for long term.

Another effective thing to do is to give a mind a game by playing with the informations you have read when you're playing, relaxing, sitting, taking a bath, etc..

You just need to make sure you stay focused. Try to at least start homework assignments a few days before they are due. That way if you end up running into trouble with something, you will have time to ask for help, and your assignments won't be late. If you struggle with subjects that you're just not too interested in, figure out a way to make studying that subject a game. Find a way to reward yourself for your hard work once you're done, like call your friends or get a new CD or something.

If there's one thing that killed my grades in school, it was procrastination!

You are not doing bad.  But your "D" grade should be looking better.  Get some test online, to build up your grades.
