I am working out to lose weight and also doing cardio. Can someone give me some Martial Arts exercises to help me with strength that I can do at home? I don't want to go to Karate classes. Just want to train at home. Thanks.

  1. www.crossfit.com

  2. train at home, alone, without any instructor?

    don't do it.

    it's to risk!

except if you just want to increase your strength. you can make a small gym at your house.

  3. that crossfit website looks like an awesome source for info.  If thats too complex then, this may sound a little crazy, but buy/rent yourself a tae bo dvd.  I know, I know...BUT the creator based it off of martial arts movements and he actually teaches you how to them.  You WON'T be learning a martial art but martial arts movements are excellent for developing strength, balance and speed.  The overall workout is designed for weight loss but if you are already doing something... just take the movements (which are already put into a cardio format) and plug them in to what you are already doing.  This would be the easiest way I believe.  Good luck to you.
