  1. Commenting on previous answers. Irons are not allowed on ships, they are a fire hazard. You can bring a steamer though if you really want to or just some Downy Wrinkle Release.  Carnival ships used to have a small top-optional deck but they don't anymore. You might get better answers if your question was more specific.

  2. get ready to have the bestest time (and food!) in your life!

and i would suggest picking your shore excursions a little early just in case...i would bring an iron for your clothes too. you're so lucky, i miss my cruise so much. im jealous.

  3. do some research on your port stops so you can be prepared.

Diet a few weeks before you depart. So much food.....

    Bring plenty of sunscreen.

    Bring more money, less clothes

    Have a great time.

  4. don't get murdered

  5. If your on a diet forgetaboutit! There is nonstop food everywhere, also be sure to get up early on days at ports because you want to be able to exprience the stops and some stops are very short. But most important just relax and remember your on vacation. Also there is a nudey deck if you care to go up there.LOL

  6. If it's a 4 day cruise, must be the Bahamas.

Bring plenty of sunscreen for being on the deck and on shore (remember, you're surrounded by very reflective water no matter where you are).

Get up early and going during the at port days to get on shore early.

If this is your first cruise, would suggest you book shore excursions with Carnival as they walk you through everything and make sure you are where you need to be and back when you need to be.

Take the steps and not the elevator when on the ship because with all the food you'll have available all day and night, it will help in not gaining 30 pounds while letting you still take all the food offered.

When going to shore, take your Sail and Sign card along with your drivers license for photo ID and port entry (DL for photo ID, Sail and Sign card to prove you are on the ship that's in the port).

Don't take a lot of cash with you on shore, rely on a credit card and put both in your front pocket (Bahamas are actually very safe, but there are a few criminals that like tourist).

The mostly: HAVE FUN - it's a cruise and you're on vacation!! Cruises are a blast!

  7. we loved the bahamas one!
