Question:

Any helpful tips for computer keyboard cleaning?

I spilled some kind of juice on my computer keyboard, and it's sticky under the keys. My friend told me to pop the keys off, as it should pop back on after I clean it. Is this true? I don't want to pop off some keys and have it NOT go back on. Does anyone have any tips to clean the keys?

  3. use a q-tip?

  4. You could pop off some keys, but you have to be careful not to use too much force.  I've had to do this many times in the past with older keyboards.  With today's keyboards, I'm not sure how well it works.  Keyboards have gotten to the point of being so cheap these days, you can replace it at the cost of $ and driving instead of pulling keys apart and taking time to clean it, and potentially find you can't replace the key.

Might try this site (found through google) http://www.mahalo.com/How_to_clean_a_com...

  5. yeah popping them off works but it sounds like keyboard won't work anymore. Take a moist cloth and wipe it down. Or buy a new keyboard if your current isn't wireless. But if it is try to clean your keyboard.
