  1. always with wings...the green ones are the best. as for school keep like a box of tampons in your locker or a pad in like the zipper part of your purse. take some midol with you at all times lol best use the ones in the little packets because the bottle makes too much noise at school. cramps...i love midol in 15 mins it doesnt even feel like your on your period...hot showers and heating pads. heat is good on your perios.

    hope i helped

  2. I've lived with them for 24 years, so here are my tips.

Pads: Always with wings are best. For heavy flow, use the overnight pads.

Cramps: Eat a banana (seriously) and use a hot water bottle for cramps (lay on your side with your knees bent at the same time). If there are too severe, take an Advil. If they prevent you from doing daily things, see your doctor.

Clots: Clotting is normal. Some periods may have more clotting than others. However, if clots are larger than the size of a nickel, you need to see your doctor.

Keep pads in your locker and purse. Use the washroom in between classes and change the pad then. Just slip one in a pocket.

Keep hydrated... drink 4 to 6 glasses of water per day.

Sore b*****s, gas, diarrhea, cramps... all normal. Sometimes they occur a few days before your period, or during.

Keep little stars or dots on your calendar to keep track of your periods.

Periods should never last longer than 14 days... if one does, see your doctor right away. Most last 5 to 10 days.

  3. Always have the best pads in my opinion :)

I take Ibuprofen sometimes when I'm on my period as the cramping gets really bad for me :(

  4. pads with wings if you get cramps be sure to have motrin with you in the first few days use overnite pads it helps if you don't like changing your pad that often wear dark pants all the time old panties that you really don't care about.

  5. If you are comfortable with it my suggestion is to use tampons, preferably tampaz pearl. I've had the most success with this brand. My only suggestion with using tampons is to make sure that you change them every 4-5 hours, just to be on the safe side.
