Question:

Any herb that will help with weight loss?

Im not trying to lose 100 lbs, just 30-40 lbs, so is there anything that will help along with a physical excercise, that will speed up and maximize the workout, like an herbal supplement or anything else.

Anyone ever tried coconut oil for this.

  6. There is so much garbage out there in the field of herbal supplements, and most of them (99.9%) have no effect on weight loss, despite the claims that they make on the box. Ground flaxseed mixed with lowfat milk is also good. L-carnitine is another good one. These are the only few that have helped for me. best of luck to you.

    How Thermogenic Herbs Work

Herbal fen-phen has not been shown to even work in clinical trials, buy we know its misuse is associated with sever side effects, from heartbeat irregularities to death from heart attack and stroke.

    What is Safe?

        * Cayenne - If you aren't plagued by spicy food, try sprinkling a dash of cayenne on your food. It contains an ingredient called capsaicin that stimulates saliva, stimulates digestion and accelerates your metabolism at a safer level.

        * Green Tea - This tea is a natural stimulant that behaves much like coffee but with the added benefit of vitamin C and flavoniods (compounds that are antioxidants). You can regulate the strength of the stimulant by steeping the tea quickly or for a long time. It can be purchased in a tea bag, or loose. It also is available in capsules, but is said to be better assimilated as a liquid.

        * Seaweed (Kelp) - A good source of trace minerals such as chromium and iodine, seaweed is a natural thyroid stimulant. It is usually contained in kelp capsules or tablets. If you suspect your weight problem is due to a thyroid problem, or if you currently take any thyroid medication, you should check with a doctor before taking kelp or seaweed.

  10. Look into Arginine. There are a lot of studies that show it helps build lean muscle. Arginine is a non essential amino acid that is mostly available from red meat. When trying to lose weight we skimp on high fat and calorie foods so we dont get as much arginine as our body may desire for optimal muscle growth.   11. Well this has been working for me, I have lost 27 lbs already.

    1) Control your portion size.

    2) Try to excercise more

    3) Reward yourself every 5 lbs you lose

    4) Took a all natural/organic supplement with high proteins and B-12 called Klamath Blue Green Algae. I take 4 a day 2 in the morning & before dinner.

  12. The Amino Acid L-carnitine helps a greaaaaaaaaat deal!! and add 200mcg Chromium to it (if your blood sugar is not low) to double the effect....

    Take them 30 mins before your workout routine..
