  1. There is really nothing you can "study" per say, because they will give you everything you need to know. Actually, I would suggest you just brush up on your algebra. Your teacher *might* give your class an evaluation test just to see where you stand.

Other than that, there is really not much else. Stay motivated and work hard. Try and establish a schedule for yourself early on so you dont fall behind. Ex: come home and do homework right away before playing games or watching TV.  Good luck!

  2. I didn't study at all to start freshman year. There's really not much you can study, you already know what you needed to know back then. I'm going to be a sophomore once the summer ends. My advice is for you to always do homework mostly since it helps to improve your grades. My exam grades were like 70% and homework was 98%, making me get a high B even though I failed every test. Don't listen to those bad things you hear about being a freshman, cause I found out they are all not true. And, if you can, take all honors classes, they're actually very easy and I wish I could have chosen all honors. My GPA for freshman (last year) was 3.43, if I had more honors classes, my GPA could have been much better. Just take freshman year seriously and don't play around. Good luck!
