Any home remedies for whitening teeth?

Dentist charge a fortune for this. I heard bi carb soda works. Is there anything else?

You mix baking soda with peroxide.  It doesn't taste great but it's homeade toothpaste that whitens

My mom used to make us eat Monterey, Swiss, or Cheddar cheese because it helps keep your teeth white...  Kinda strange, but it seems to work...
