1. try baking soda and sugar mixed half and half i tried it and it does work it takes a few weeks but my house is finally roach free. after trying everything else i could think of .just put it small dishes in places they like to live (the sugar draws them in and the baking soda kills them)

  2. They hate bay leaves. You can buy them at the grocery store.

  3. Try peppermint oil. Bugs don't seem to like it. You can also sprinkle a few drops outside your doors to keep them outside. Hope this works for you.

  4. There could be a number of reasons. This is the time of year insects come inside to avoid the summer rains.

The roaches are after your food. Store all foods properly. Even a clean house can have roaches if the route to the food is clear, ie a crack in the floor/wall.

Roaches can get into the house via the pipes and sewer system.

Other than using pesticides, the second-best prevention is your foot on the roach. For more serious infestations try an exterminator. Roaches are hard to eradicate. Try a sweet sticky bait.

  5. Someone once told me mothballs.. placed under fridge and in back of cabinets.. they do stink..
