  1. depends on the mood of the horses.  sometimes classical, sometimes country, sometimes soft rock...we listen to most everything.

i did notice, tho, my horses don't care for rap or heavy metal...they do seem to really enjoy stuff like pink floyd, tho.

  2. Most of the time it's country, but if I'm just riding and listening to my iPod, I have a mix! Country, rock, and classical. Depends on my mood, my horse's mood and what I'm aiming to do on my horse. :)

  3. Western and soft rock

  4. Go figure...

I'm a licensed electrician and so is my husband...

Our barn doesn't have electricity in it.

    What's wrong with this picture???

BTW...I like country and rock and roll.  Like gospel and praise songs too.  That's what I'd listen to...if I had electricity out there!

  5. Country, or oldies.. they say that rock isn't good for horses because it can hype them up.. slower easy songs make them calm. (:

  6. a lot of the grooms/workers play spanish, but otherwise it is typically country. The other day i was out there and someone was playing rap REALLY loud. I guess it kinda depends on who has control of the stereo, lol. = D

  7. Metalica, AC/DC, Godsmack, Chris LeDoux, Rob Zombie, Beach Boys, Kid Rock, Marty Robbins

Thats all I can think of now, hmmmmm maybe whats why I'm so warped.

  8. Great !

Is there anything else that can be added to my list ?

  9. Well, I board my horse, so I don't really get to choose the music :)

But, at my old barn, there was usually country music, even though it was an English barn.

At my current stable, though, there usually isn't music playing around the barn, but you can usually hear some classical music coming from the arena, with someone practicing freestyle dressage or something.

  10. our barn has a stereo system w/ an iPod attachment. so if we don't have an ipod it's usually like a "top 20" station a little of everything. if we have an iPod it depends on whose iPod it is

  11. I don't listen to anything because I just like to hear the real world when I'm messing around with my horses. I live in the boonies so there is no traffic noise. Just a train once in a while. Once in a while a fighter jet goes over. Then I just stand and watch & listen in awe with goose bumps.
