Any idea for no sugar added "dressing" for fruit salad?

I am making a simple fruit salad for an 80th birthday party tomorrow. Since the fruit is already sweet, I don't want to add a lot of sugar since many people attending can't have a lot of sugar. Does anyone have an idea for a simple dressing to either toss the fruit in or dip the fruit in? I am mixing strawberries, blueberries, cantaloupe and bananas... My MIL suggested apple but I wasn't sure if that went? An ideas are appreciated. I am making 3 salads so I need simple on this one.

  1. Plain yogurt, honey, and poppyseeds makes a great healthy, simple dressing that is delicious to coat the fruit.

For a dip mix cream cheese with honey. I serve this dip often with fresh fruit displays when I am catering. It goes over very well. If you want to keep it really simple, just whip up some fresh heavy cream.

  2. I usually cut a fresh lemon and squirt it on the  fruit and then add a little Splenda or Nutri sweet and toss. you can taste all of thefruits and a the lemon gives it a zip!

  3. A good olive oil, balsamic vinegar, chopped thyme and tarragon makes a good sweet dressing for this..beware if you have any people that are impartial to licorice, for tarragon will "lean" toward a sweet licoricy taste..a touch of good orange blossom honey will do good in it too and help thicken it up

  4. use sugarfree whipped topping

  5. delete the bananas.add fresh pineapple chunks instead and squeeze some fresh lime juice on it and a wee bit of real vanilla extract

  6. I have several diabetic friends, so low- or no-sugar is always a consideration.  These are my two favorites:

simply mix in lemon yogurt -simple, light and creamy

1/4 c. orange juice and cinnamon, blended together - gives it just a little tang and tastes great

  7. Bananas & apple will turn brown unless soaked in orange juice.

    Everyday Vinaigrette Makes 1/3 cup.

Add all ingredients below to small s***w cap jar and shake well.

    2 tbsp vegetable oil

2 tbsp lemon juice or raspberry vinegar

2 tbsp mixed fresh chopped herbs (or 2 tsp dried)

    Pinch salt and pepper

  8. Add to fruit and toss just before serving:

    HONEY LIME FRUIT SALAD DRESSING

    ¼ tsp. grated lime peel

    2 Tbsp. fresh lime juice

    1 Tbsp. honey

4 leaves fresh mint, stacked, rolled into a tube, and thinly sliced

In small bowl, combine lime peel, lime juice, honey, and mint, if desired, to make dressing.  Pour dressing over fruit and toss.
