I can't find a topic for my dissertation. I am a trained speech therapist and i am doing my master's on inclusive education. I want to do something about teachers and speech therapists but i don't know exactly what... Maybe something about communication or collaboration or.... Does anybody have an idea even if it's something totaly different?

  1. Something with SLPs working with teachers to provide phonological awareness instruction/collaboration to primary students.

  2. The importance of collaboration-

I work with children with developmental disabilities-we depend on the SLP to develop speech goals/techniques and tehn carry them over in the classroom---

the classroom reacher may in turn be able to suggest some techniques to aid teh speech goal.....

  3. Teacher compliance with speech/language goals and recommendations in the classroom based on the level of student's disability.

  4. Hi There,

I'm a SLP and co-founded TinyEYE Technologies, a program that allows Speech-Language Pathologists to perform therapy online with interactive activities, web cams, and headsets. Telespech isn't new, but it still has resistance. We are always looking for students who want to do research on this application as it has an important effect on the future of our profession. The shortage will only get stronger as the baby boomers retire.

It doesn't totally relate to your topic, but it's an idea if you're interested.

I hope to connect with you.
