Where are you from? For instance I am Puerto Rican. Our Christmas Menu typically consists of the following:

Pernil – (Roast Pork Shoulder)

Arroz con Gandules - (Rice w/chick peas)

Pastelles  - (Savory Pastry with stuffed meat and wrapped in banana leaves - boiled)

Coquito – Spanish eggnog/made with coconut milk, cinnamon, rum and other ingredients
