I took it a few weeks ago.  Pretty crappy old bus, but nice driver ( a rarity on Greyhound.)   Left Austin an hour late, but got into San Antonio only 20 minutes late, and even stopped for lunch.  I think VERY poorly of Greyhoundd..they lost my luggage a couple of weeks before that on a horrible trip from Dallas to Colorado. But Austin to San Antonio is a short trip, so you can tolerate it.  Another Idea is to check Craigslist for  a ride...I did that for my trip from Colorado to Austin and it worked out great.
