  1. Find a job, rent a place to live, call a  mover.

You can move from one province to another any time you want with no government requirements.

Generally speaking you have a limited amount of time to change your drivers license from one province to another (I think if you move to Ontario, you have 60 days to change your license to an Ontario one)

You must be a resident of the province for a certain amount of time before you are eligible for the health coverage in that province.

You must live in a province for at least 12 months without being a full time post secondary student to get a student loan in that province.

  2. actually to be considered a resident of quebec you need to get a sun card (health card) and for that i believe you need to have proof of residence of at least 6 months for a drivers license you can get it immediately and then you would also be considered a resident here.

  3. Just move here if your Canadian, not a problem, but why on earth would you want to be considered a Quebec resident, unless your bilingual, it sucks to live here!   Jobs are few and far between for anglos's, Quebec is the highest taxed province, and the winter is the pits.
