  1. Visit this site and it'll show you some TIPS and how to do those things! Good luck! http://www.ehow.com/how_2196917_decorate...

  2. We only had a small place, but we

Themed our day in white, gold and red

Hired chair covers in white with gold sashes for the day (there was an option of adding swags for the walls etc if the room had been bigger)

Had central flower table decorations for the tables and a large decoration for the top table

Bought table confetti in the themed colour and sprinkled it on the tables

Bought balloons in the themed colour for the centres of the tables and had them floating about 3 feet off the tables

Bought glitter tea light candles and holders for the tables during the day and electric tea lights for the evening

Bought banners and honeycomb bells to decorate the bar area

    Good luck

  3. you need more details. what are your colors? did you think of centerpieces?-were u gonna make them yourself? how many guests? how many tables..whats the budget etc

wish i could help but i cant get a visual..

try going on theknot.com and checking out pics,, thatll help u get the gears movin

  4. Well what's the budget? Use two colours...white and something else...loads of balloons....white cloths on the tables and flowers or/and baloon centrepieces.....you can make or buy a baloon arch (google it)

  5. Lots of different ways... My friend had tall vases with flowers, sitting on  clear glass and crystals scattered on the table, it was very beautiful. I had orchids and vines in tall vases, 1 per table, I used my favors, brown boxes with blue ribbon, as decor as well. You could use fish bowls, or miniature cakes. It's you wedding so have fun with it!!

  6. by using colour scheme, using balloons, confetti sprinkles on tables, candles on mirrors, favour boxes, party poppers and bubbles. All can be found on ebay

  7. There are so many ways to do decorate them it is really up to you.  I had blue tablecloths with a silver candle labra in the center with the candles light and I had blue roses wrapped around the candle labra.  I had a heart shaped ceramic box for the favor at each table setting.     I have also seen many people put flower arrangements, fish bowls with fish in them, bowls with glass stones at the bottom and floating candles.   Like I said it really depends on what you like.

  8. This is impossible to answer without knowing more information because the possibilities are endless and we have no idea what style you want and what your budget is.

I would first narrow down what your theme or style is, and then take it from there. Theknot.com and brides.com are great places to start. Bookmark things that you like and fit with your style, and take them to your florist if you have one and see what they can do to incorporate the ideas into your space.

The only things I can say are to NOT use balloons, because they're incredibly tacky and never look good, and don't spend too much on flowers for centerpieces because they can get pricey and, unlike your gown or the cake, they won't be in many pictures. Keep the floral costs down to a minimum and spend the money elsewhere on things like photography and making your guests feel welcome (drinks, favors, welcome baskets, what have you). If you have empty spaces, fill them with tables (with  nice tableclothes) and put your guestbook on one (or whatever you're using for guests to sign) and pictures of you and your fiance on another. or create stations of guestbooks and photos )include ones from your childhood of both of you, and together - a good place to use your engagement photos if you have them. Whatever personalized touches you can add, do it. Those are the things that will be meaningful.

  9. I hired a decorator.  However, if you don't have a budget for one I've seen beautiful decorations made out of glass fishbowls with floating candles in them.  They had colored water in them.

  10. It all depends on you and your up coming spouse. What do you both like and have in common

  11. Our caterers supplied plain white table cloths and we added star shaped mirrors with a cylindrical glass vase filled with clear glass pebbles and a mixture of silver and green onion grass with a small orchid spray plus star and heart shaped table confetti.

  12. Go to you tube and put in "Best Wedding Reception Table Decorations" there are loads of great ideas there. Good luck with it. X
