Any idea how to fix my teddy bear?

i gave my mom my teddy bear so that she could wash it and i specifically told her not to put it in the dryer but as always she didn't listen and did the complete opposite. his once soft fur got really coarse and i really want to know if there is anything i can do.

if it helps he is a build a bear teddy bear. any ides would be great?

the person who said wash it in conditioner was a good idea! you should try that! I have not done it but it cant hurt the bear right? I hope your teady bear is back to normal again soon!

Wash it with hair conditioner. Like pantene pro v. Its like silk in a bottle.

Phone or  go into the Build a Bear store and ask if they have any suggestions.I'm sure that issue has occurred before.I don't think your mom would do this on purpose just to tick you off.Something like a plush animal will hold a lot of water when machine washed so maybe she felt she had no option.I'm pretty certain that your mom could have suggested you wash it yourself.Your relationship with your mom is worth more than a build a bear.Take care.
