A film director such as Christopher Nolan [Batman Begins, The Dark Knight etc]?

I'm really into drama and would love to follow that as a career and apparently have what it takes, except the contacts.

I am already searching for bit-parts in films, but getting 'noticed' from something like that is very difficult.

Please help? Just think, you could literally change my life... Lol xD
