around 6 months ago during wrestling season my elbow was injured by a impact straight to it(it was tackled while are was extended) at first the pain was unbearable and I couldn't straighten my arm without feeling like a bolt of lightning was going through it. But the little sports medical staff at my school said (it looks like just a little nerve damage) So I was back to practice 2 days later, and back to weight training as well. 6 months later my arm still isn't back to 100 percent.(every time i extend my are forcefully, like throwing a ball it pops and hurts) So I went and got it x-rayed it isn't a fracture or break, so they suspect soft tissue damage, ( the tendons to be exact) and put me on prednisone hoping for some results.

can someone please tell me what type of injury this may be?

  1. we can't possibly be sure but just a suggestion,it could be what is called tennis elbow.....good luck

  2. What you are describing sound like a ruptured biceps tendon. My husband went  through this type of injury.   He had surgery done one week later.  I would go to an orthopedic surgeon and see what they say if you haven't already done this.
