  1. Calling all singers! If you love karaoke then this will be heaven on a stick, or perhaps on a microphone!

Murray Schultz is a brave man. He owns a bus which leaves Central Station's Sydney Coach Terminal each Saturday with a crowd of passengers who fancy they can sing!

The bus seats 44 and is fitted with two microphones with extension cords and three television monitors with the words of the songs so everyone can join in. The back of the bus is raised a little, making a sort of stage for extroverts.

There are 30 playlists, with songs for everyone from children to crooners and those in between. Karaoke classics are included on all lists!

Backpackers love the tours — they meet new friends, get the feel of the city and generally have fun. Hens and bucks nights are popular and karaoke nights are catching on in the corporate world, so people can let their hair down and just be themselves.

There is a tongue-in-cheek briefing before you leave and the music begins.

The three stops along the way are Coogee Beach, La Perouse and the Botany Bay Hotel.

Alcohol is not provided, but you are permitted to take your own.

    Location

Around some of Sydney's favourite landmarks

    Cost

Karaoke Bus Tours cost $32.50 for adults. Children under nine are $20. They operate each Saturday.

Please note prices are valid at time of filming.
