Question:

Any idea with what's up with my cat's eye?

On the mornings I notice that one of her eyes is different from the other one. On of her pupils is large and round and the other one is long and thin. I guessed this what because her eyes were adapting to the light, but if then why are her eyes different from one another? At night both of her pupils are big and round. Is this normal? Why does this happen?

  1. Never met it with a cat, but I know a woman who's eyes are different. She told me they were different because she had a very difficult and strange life.  Maybe your cat's life is difficult... A really interesting thing...

  2. Yes it is normal and it is because they are adjusting to the light

If there is discharge then there is a cause for concern no discharge no concerns

    I have 7 cats

  3. its doing drugs catnip to be specific better check it into rehab ASAP!

  4. It is either neurological or she has scratched the eye which is causing problems.

When it doubt, get it to the vet asap.

  5. Most of the time it's the reaction time between the light and dark with the constricting of the pupil.  If it stayed that way, then you need to get the cat to the vet as soon as possible- there may be a neurological issue.

  6. Un-equal pupils are a sign of something being wrong with the brain....this is true for both animals and people.  I would have the vet check her out.

  7. If its getting that bad take her to the vet. Or call the vets office. Hope she gets better.

  8. it mite be because maybe your cat got scraped in the eye by another cat or something like that because my aunts cat has eyes like that too and thats what she told me that happened
