Aw well how about a black cat ( you ) & her kitten ( baby ), there are really cute cat outfits for children these days or you daughter could be your cat & you could be a witch.

I immediately thought of "chip off the ol' block"...but a cement block and chip isn't very cute! :)

But what about the "apple doesn't fall far from the tree"...she can be an apple and you could be the tree?  

Or what about Little Bo Peep for you and she could be your sheep.  

Or you could be Goldilocks and she could be baby bear.  

Or you could be a chicken and she could be an egg.  LOL  

Or you could be a pumpkin and she could be a gourd. ;0)  

Or you could be anything adult (cat) and she could be the baby (kitten).
