  1. I'm sorry, I'm usually not crabby and I try to be calm but...

I don't get it... ethnic names get mocked left and right because of spellings and hard pronunciations and people deliberately change the spellings of common names to make them seem "original"?

I know plenty of people with actual real, beautiful and original ethnic names and I cannot begin to tell you how hard it is to constantly spell for people and teach over and over how it's pronounced and why the name is spelt this way and why their parents picked it, etc etc.

James, Jordan, Kian, Arman, and Cyrus are original names.

Maksime is not original... it look like a 5year old trying to spell the name and not knowing how to do it. Will it sound differently? No. Then why bother? Who cares if it's written the traditional way? Why must you cause suffering and annoyance to an individual from the age of 5 to old life?

You're going to be blessed with adorable twins so make sure that they go through life as painless as possible. Here's a list of baby names in different cultures that mean beautiful: http://hasani.net.phtemp.com/beautiful.h...

    All the best.

  2. hmm well im not sure about the whole twins thing but how about:

Camille, Haven, Grey, Alexa, Whitteir, Gable or Garrett

  3. I have never been fond of cheapening names by giving them horrific spellings. So I won't be much help there. Grwn, pronounced Groon is a pretty unique name. It's a legitimate name though, I am not sure if you want made up ones or not. I actually know a Leeloo, spelled Lijlu.

  4. Why would you want to name a kid something like that? Change your own name and see if you like it.

  5. Take the first three letters of your last name.

Add the first two letters of your first name.

    Voila.

Alternatively you can take the first two letters of your mother's maiden name then add the last three letters of your city of birth.

  6. Girls:

    Lynzee (Lindsey)

    Raychl (Rachel)

    Korin (Corinne)

    Emmalee (Emily)

    Lin (Lynn)

  7. That would simply make me look dyslexic. Why give a child a difficult name that no one can spell? It's not a gift, and it doesn't make the name any more original (because it's still following naming trends).

Leeloo sounds like the name you'd give an animal, not a child.

  8. Mireille (mee-RAY)

    Henlie

    Kastan

    Audria

    Cadia

    Leeland (not leeloo :p ew)

    Jaytren

I just thought of these off the top of my head...sorry if they're kinda weird!

  9. Sorry, I can't help you.  I can not stand it when people change regular names so extremely that you hardly recognize them.  How annoying.  Just choose a unique name rather than making a classic one different.

  10. Do not under any circumstance give your child one of those stupid name spellings.  You're not making them more original. You're dooming them to a life of annoyance and correcting people.  My name is spelled incorrectly and I still have to correct my own grandmother when she spells my name wrong.  And on top of annoying your child you are just making yourself look STUPID!  People will laugh at you when they see your child's name.
