Any ideas for a camp out in the back yard?

Me and my friends are having a camp out (Boys and girls during the day, but girls are sleeping in the tent) We are all 11 and we act like little kids XD. Are there any games we could play? (Or stuff to do with the boys) The boys are leaveing after dinner so..got any ideas?

make smores!!!!! if someone has an instrument or something they should play it!!! we did this once and we made a campfire and sang some songs also tell some scary storries really fun!!!! and play would you rather or truth or dare classic games!!!!!

YOU HAVE TO PLAY SARDINES!!! It is so scary and super fun. It is like Hide and Seek. It is a game for evening or dark and best played outside with a pretty large area, like the whole front and back yard and the neighbors yard if they don't care.

1. Agree on your fair area.

2. One, that's right ONE person hides while the rest count.

3. Everyone looks for the hider.

4. When you find the hider...you have to hide with them!! That's why it's called Sardines. You all get packed like sardines under the canoe or behind a bush.

5. The last person left is the loser and has to be the hider for the next round.

This game is really fun. It is so scary to go hide by yourself and so much fun to squish everyone into the spot as they find you. It is also really scary to be the last person left looking. Before you know it, you're roaming around and everyone is gone! My best memories of playing this was in total dark night with 4 people's yards as fair play with adults and kids both playing. I was so scared. Everyone split up and my cousin was on the roof of the shed hiding. He pulled me up there when he saw me all alone. It was hilarious when 10 of us were squished up there hiding and the last person was creeping around all terrified.

I camped alot when I was young, we would tell ghost stories around the campfire. We would also make shadow puppets with flashlights on the tent. During the day, why don't you go retro and see if you can dig up a few board games like monopoly, or Life. There are also games like telephone line, the 1st person tells the 2nd person in the line a sentence, they keep repeating in a whisper down the line untill the last person says it out loud, it ususlly is nothing close to the original. Truth or dare can be fun, as long as it stays clean.

get a really big camp fire going. once you have a lot of coals rake them out in a 3 foot by 10 foot rectangle. take your shoes off and try to walk down the corridor of coals. make sure you have an adult present tho. or somone might get hurt.

yea! have a picnic first! talk with everyone! then after that.....the girls can dance to songs or something... if you wanna be with the boys well...play tag, something that will get you going and maybe play a lil limbo, thats fun oh and if you have ballons or something put a note in it saying something like dance like a monkey,like truth or dare and they have to pop the ballon with there butts and they have to do what it says in the note! fun fun fun game! well have a great time doing the camp out! bye! :) p.s. when the guys leave and the girls are outside look at the stars and make soemthing out of them! hahah! bye

How about a water theme?  You could have a small pool, water guns, sprinklers, play beach music.  Buy inexpensive juice boxes, pouches, water bottles and freeze them.  Put them in a plastic tub and you will have cold, icy drinks all afternoon.  You could buy some sidewalk chalk, draw goofy pictures on the driveway and then rinse them off with ... water.  You could blow bubbles, maybe use a slip and slide.

Your 11?  Well you young enough to have an imagination and just old enough to be creative, im sure you can think of something.  If not then toss a sprinkler out and have a water balloon fight just like fun in the 90's. :)  If you got a fire goin roast some smores or hotdogs.  Not much you can't do when your having fun with friends.  Things will come to mind even if its one of your friend's ideas.

A scavenger hunt if you have enough freedom to go roaming.  

And my favorite- if the neighborhood is safe, split up into teams and play manhunt. It's in teams and like hide and seek for older people. Use the tent as the place where you keep captured opponents.
