Any ideas for a child's 1st birthday party?

Things such as themes and keep in mind its a girl.

I have the perfect theme. Pink balloons, a pink cake and family. Anything else isnt necissary and she wont remember it anyway.

Depending on the age group, you would want to have games ( age appropriate ), snacks and little activities that everyone can participate in. For example, decorating a cookie with icing and sprinkles or something like that. Themes can be a character that she likes (if any) or just a colored theme, like pink, red or purple? Or it could be themed by an activity like a water theme ( depending on where you live ). princess theme? Maybe that'll help?

just cute and girly. just get some balloons that say 1 on them. decorate more to your liking as i know your "child wont remember it" but its a big day for you.

well i have 2 boys and 1 just turned one about 2 months ago and it was a pooh party and we decorated the whole living room with pooh and had family and some of his daycare freinds over and you can do the same thing and like do it with one of her favorite characters and do what i did and it is really fun and just seeing there faces is the icing on the cake haha!!
