  1. a can of soda can be turned into a pencil holder.

a old discs can be design to the walls.

newspapers can be covers for the tables.

springs can be put at the ceiling to put some accent to the room.

    hope it helps.

  2. Use old gift wrap/newspapers/comics to deco podge old shoe boxes/flower pots and/or round oatmeal/coffee containers to use as gift boxes or to store personal effects.  Newspaper are better than paper towels for cleaning mirrors (but don't let it touch the wall). Old plates used as mosaics on flower pots. Old curtains into pillow covers. You can use old pallets for about anything you can imagine building. Old socks into puppets (old idea but still fun haha).  I am planning to use old broken plastic dolls with arms and legs missing to make a halloween decoration this year haha.

  3. cans (soup, coffee, etc) also make really pretty lumiaries (sp?). You peel the labels and clean them inside and out. Use a hammer and a sharp nail to puncture tiny holes  all around the can in a pattern and then put a tea light candle inside and light it.

my 7 yr old son and i ues soup cans to make pen holders which he gives as gifts for holidays. Just cover them with paper (construction, stationary, scrapbook paper...how bout the comic strips from those newspapers youve collected?) to make the the pen holders look even better, you could lined the inside with paper also...or felt.

you can make palm trees from newspapers...my son did this at school. They rolled the newspaper and held it with a few strong rubber bands...take scissors and cut into the roll...not across..you are NOT slicing the roll. The other direction so you have long fringe on one end. stand it up and you have a palm tree. (to make it colored paint with poster or temper paints BEFORE cutting). You could also cut the fringes longer and they could be Pom-poms for cheerleaders...lol

i have seen airplane home decor made entiredly from soda cans. They are so cute. You could probably find instructions online for them.

also i have seen in magazines ...using soda cans and cutting and sometimes painting them to make decor for in your garden...sometimes they make them look like flowers, frogs, etc.

  4. News paper can be soaked and mixed with mud to make bowls candle stands etc.you can use bottles and cans to make lovely flower pots and containers ,decorate them with painting etc.Use them to decorate your office and company,Good Luck.

  5. News papers can be used as wall paper, and any many other projects.

  6. You could hold a fashion show with the creations you've made from recycled materials, and also hold competitions on who can get the most.

Sounds good that you're concerned about the environment!

  7. Do some art projects and use recyclable materials ONLY. It will help the Earth and help your company have nice accents to the rooms.

  8. First of all, I would like you to not think of bottles, tin cans and newspapers as rubbish. It undermines their potential as materials. Newspapers can be used to make papier mache and bottles can be reused as stationary holders.

  9. tin cans cn be melted n new things cn b made

  10. have you considered a food composter such as bokashi?

Also you could make sure schemes for cartridges and electronic equipment is being used.

Generally you want to be working towards minimal paper use.

  11. I would make a sculpture out of all of it. Maybe make it like a tree and stack and tape the tin cans for the base and make branches and leaves out of the newspaper (you could paint some of it). It could grow out of an office garbage can to send a strong message. You could certainly decopage desks with the newspapers and shalack over it and they would be pretty cool.

Colored bottle make intersting decoration in windows and allow the light to come through. You see it in decorating mags all the time. You can also take them somewhere with a glass kiln and melt them flat and hang them in windows.... some people use them for coasters, spoon rests, and I have one I use as a cheese tray from a wine bottle! I also saw in a recent magazine where they took cans (like soup and food come in) and they painted them and used as planters.
