Im looking for a room divider but the only ones out there are those horrible foldables that look like from the 60's. Anyways I was thinking on doing something myself but haven't been able to come up with anything. Walls are white and I have light color furniture, like birch.

  1. how bout a sitcom style line of duct tape this side is mine this side is yours sort of thing

  2. Any way to use some of your furniure, like book cases or an old dresser with tall plants (live or silk) on either side and on top.  Often it the simplest things that create dramatic results... a room divider is just an illusion you are trying to create... good luck.

  3. sew some plaid shirts together and staple them on to a wooden frame make a hole in the frame and put a wooden door in side of it! lolz ime sooooo bored

  4. Hang a couple of chains from the ceiling with strong hooks, to span the area you want to hide, and then hang a rod, like a copper pipe ( I know copper is spendy right now, so maybe a pvc pipe, depending on how long you want it, pvc is easy to paint), then hang some fabric. Curtains, painter's drop cloth is light colored, or groovy looking shower curtains, use a few of them, you have a chance to make something really cool.

You could also use some rings with clips, and hang some sheets with a nice print.
