  1. Get them all in the kitchen and make their own home-made pizza!

For the crust, you can buy a dry mix, make it and split it up, or you can get a tube of dough, or even make them on English muffins or bagels.

Make the pizzas, eat, then play board or card games.

  2. i love family nights!!!!!! what you can do is have a time to watch movies and socialize and then play some board games like trouble and stuff like that ur never to old to play you could also make your own pizza or cookies and stuff like that and you can also make smoothies!!!!!!

    Hope this helps :)

  3. Maybe while you are watching a movie, play card games, bake cookies, play board games like Life,Monopoly,Yahtzee,or Cranium. If you don't feel like making a big dinner, order a pizza or Chinese. You could also play Schrades which is really fun.

  4. We always liked game nites; there are so many out there, but Pictionary, Rumoli, Yahtzee, Life were the favourites.  On movie nites, maybe you could do "theme" movies like just comedy, scary, western etc. and have the snacks relate to that theme.

  5. Eat some awesome food - pasta and garlic bread, cordon bleu and mashed potatoes, schnitzel and scalloped potatoes (can you tell I like rich food?) and play some board games with each other.  You can keep in tune with each other, laugh, and have fun.

It's nice you keep up with your family!

  6. fry steaks with vinager and fresh garlic then go do a cheap activety once in a while or a movie

  7. Watching movies does not allow for conversation, why not a game night?  Something like Phase 10 or Skip-bo allows for a lot of laughter and interaction.  Save the movies for a night when it doesn't matter if someone is missing.  The family meal sounds good as does the junk food.

    Have fun and good luck.

  8. Check out this site called Kids Off The Couch.  They've got great suggestions for family friendly films paired with an outdoor adventure that ties into the movie.   We rented Fantasia 2000 and then made a picnic and went to a local park concert under the stars.  This week we are going to rent The Secret of Roan Inish and then visit a local zoo, aquarium or mammal rescue center.  I love the "kid red flags" so you don't have to watch the whole movie first in case you have a particularly frightened little one and the conversation starters to get everyone thinking a little, too.

Good for you for being so selfless and creating a Friday Family Night.  It'll be great no matter what just as long as you are together!  Good movie munchies are key, too :).  We make Orville Redenbacher Kettle Corn and sprinkle it with Lawry's Season Salt.  Sweet salty - yum!!!

  9. junk food night we use to have that

  10. It not always easy to find a movie that everyone will enjoy. I would stick to card games, look on line for some new game that none of you have played. Sometimes when people mention playing cards it sounds boring but once you start, everyone has a great time. It promotes talking and laughing.

For food, maybe pizza or grinders. I always love a BBQ but for a family game night you want to keep it something simple. Sounds like fun. It's nice that you are thinking about your family. It's so important for families to connect these days.

  11. barbecue?

  12. That sounds like good fun to me! Except to maybe add some board/card games instead of all movies.

P.S. - Why do germster's answers always involve cheapness, steaks, garlic, and vinegar? Do you have a deep love for cheap, garlicky steaks? lol

  13. we always have family board game night where you pull out all the game u have and play them and have winners(you could win money if you bet too)

  14. bowling or maybe miniature golf, board games, rent movies
