Any ideas for a fashion show 14th birthday party?

For my 14th birthday, I want to host a fashion show for my friends and I to model in. It has to be done at my house, and I'm on a low budget. I have a few questions..

1) Any ideas to make it more unique & fun?

2) Should I just have my friends bring outfits of their own they want to model?

3) What kind of food should we have?

omg I LOVE the theme "your mothers clothing". have everyone wear their moms BEST outfit, THEN have them get their mothers WORST outfit! :DD

and like, have everyone try to make the outfits look awesome. hehe

Pick a theme, make it like pjs only, or your mothers clothing. or lay out clothes and give them  like 5 min to get ready. or fun things like that. for foods, Sushi? pizza? or make foods like qusadila, or go mexican

So, if you want a fashion show, I have an idea.

1) Pick your favorite place in the world- (china, Hawaii, anywhere)

2) You can buy, make or just put together some out fit that resembles that place- (or have your friends bring their own)

3) For food, you could have food from that place- (like for Hawaii you could have coconut juice and fish or just plate and napkin- themed)

I hope you think that is a good idea!

I WOULD GIVE THEM PLAIN CLOTHES LIKE A WHITE T-SHIRT AND REALLY CHEAP PANTS FROM WAL-MART OR SOMETHING AND GET THEM 2 DECORATE THEM WITH BUTTONS OR SPARKLES OR WHATEVER AND JUST HAVE FUN BUT JUST 2 KEEP IT CHEAP INVITE ABOUT 5 FRIENDS FOR FOOD, NOT 2 COMPLICATED YET NOT TOO BORING MAYBE HAVE NACHOS AND YUMMY DIP SOME KIND OF JUICE WITH A LEMON OR LIME WEDGE AND FOR DINNER HAVE SOMETHING LIKE SPAGHETTI AND MAYBE HAVE CHIPS LATER ALSO IF YOUR GONNA HAVE DECORATIONS KEEP THEMTHE SAME COLOUR OR ELSE THEY LLLOOK TACKY.  CIAO!
