  1. hmm a random person...

well when i think feminine i think

    butterflies

    flowers

    birds

    vines

    ivy

    nature

maybe a landscape or sky scape

a vine with flowers wrapping around your arm with some greenery and butterflies

maybe a seascape with various bright saltwater fish and coral

a cherry blossom branch with a bird perched on it

maybe a favorite animal from nature in a forrest setting

or a fairy sitting in a field of mushrooms and flowers

a celestial scene with stars and planets fading in to a blue sky then an ocean scene

a grouping of butterflies going up your arm with shading and wisps of color swirling around.... maybe small bursts of stars as well

  2. More Flowers. Butterflies. Cats.

  3. First off, find yourself a really good artist (not just a tattooist, an artist). Then just go in and lay down a few things you want to include. It sounds to me that you have a better idea of what you want than you even think you do (I think that came out right). You have a couple ideas, things you want in the image, butterflies, foliage and stuff. Just lay that out for the tattooist and he/she should be able to draw up something. At that point, just have him/her add or remove anything you want or don't want until you have an image you are happy with.

    Good luck!

  4. Flowers seem pretty overdone, especially since you already have some on your body.

My tattoos are definitely more new-school. The girl who designed them for me is Tegan Coddington. You should check out her gallery at www.glittersniffer.deviantart.com/galler... She has some really cool, but girly, art. She can also do custom tattoo designs. It might not be your style, but her tattoos make kickass girly half sleeves from what I've seen :)

If this doesn't help at all. I would just go to check out a tattoo studio and look through some flash or work with an artist to come up with something.

  5. well if you provided us with some information then ya i could possibly find you a perfect tattoo, I will be back to see if you include some info on yourself and what you like....etc..

  6. use your brain, this should not even be asked.

  7. I think that you should go with a combination of flowers possibly from Japanese paintings, and classic, and timeless beautiful images, - again possibly from paintings. Here are some images:

The translation for this next Chinese painting is: “Flowers

With a courtyard of gorgeous flowers, the spring has her master.

The windstorm continues through the night, but there is no need to worry.” by Zhang Cuiying

This is a Chinese painting of peonies ("Mu Dan") by Jiangou Zhang:

Or something from a master, Leonardo Da Vinci:

you could do something whimsical - flowers, and faeries, magic sparkly,. here be fairies:

or you could incorporate Vintage images, here's a site that might have something that would appeal to you (again incorporate flowers):

You could do an ancient Egyptian image of Cleopatra like this:

Well, this should give you a lot to consider, besides others ideas!

    Good luck with your sleeve!
