There is a massive multi-story zone-3 lazer wars place on Whitehorse Road, Box Hill. Great fun and you can eat pizza and drinks upstairs after.

you could organise a night at king pin bowling at the crown casino,it has a bar and the disco lights happening.

or you could go to the jam factory and have sumo wrestling,where you get into those big sumo suits and have wrestling contests,my fiancee did this with her work for the same reason as your question-she had fun and a laugh
