Any ideas for a fundraiser to raise money for my jv volleyball team??

we have to buy our own uniforms, so my coach told us to come up with ideas for a fundraiser.. does anyone have any ideas??

Try a raffle.  You have a drawing and the 6 or more winners get to play against your team in a scrimmage.  Sell tickets to the scrimmage.  Think of all of the friends and family of the winners that would pay to watch them make a total fool of themselves in public.  

Two warnings.  Check with your state and your high school association to see if they have any objections to you running a raffle.  Many people hear the word raffle and they get the idea "illegal" raffle.  

The second warning is that once you get non volleyball players on the court, you have a risk of getting injured.  Sometimes they do not stop with the little net pretending to get in the way.

Try a Serve-A-Thon (it works just like a walk-a-thon).  Gather pledges (friends, family, business owners, etc.) for each serve or for a set number of serves you commit to do.  It could be 50 cents per serve or $10 for 25 serves.  When you complete the servathon, collect your money.  You can set you own serving goals and amounts.

This fundraiser gives you an opportunity to work on a skill while at the same time you are raising money.
