Any ideas for a good volleyball workout program or volleyball excercises?

I am wanting to play on the volleyball team next year, but I need to get in shape and workout through the summer.. any ideas on what i can do to get in shape.. such as sit ups, push ups.. etc. Anything will help me!!!!!! Thank you!

  1. weight training helps you verticle and makes you stronger

    agility drills cuz its all about footwork

    sprint and longer distance for those long intense volleys


  2. Squats with weights, squat jumps with no weight, jump-rope, jumping up and down off boxes 1 and 1/2 feet high.

    Short sprints 20m

    Power cleans

    Bench press

    Medicine ball throw (front/overhand, back and sidearm)
