  1. sure! in case of energy conservation u alwys have an option nd its up to anone to us eit soures like the solar energy is a quite efficient source that can b brought into practice......

  2. I've cut my electricity usage for my personal computers by doing a few things, unplugging laptops when they don't need to be charged, and shutting down my desktop when not used. I power it down all the way to the battery backup, mine has a switch that I can flip so I'm not charging it when the computer isn't in use. You can also consider task lighting instead of flooding the whole office with light. LED lights are cooler and use less energy than even CFL's. There are several settings for dormant computers, so use the one that uses the least amount of electricity. Consolidate printing where possible, it uses less electricity to have 1 or 2 printers with high usage than having many that are spending most of the day on standby.

To create a healthier environment add some plants, ferns are great. There is some evidence that says all those electronics make the indoor airquality worse, a few house plants can help filter the air without useing energy.

  3. lets burn our farts

  4. plant trees

  5. go for renewable energy sources, they may be costly to install but a great way.grow more trees.even try to have lawns in the terrace and creepers that stick on like dense grass on to the walls they will reduce the a.c usage.try using led lights in clusters they do work.use solar heaters.use solar panels

  6. That is a tough one.  I think more and more IT companies are trying to become carbon neutral.  Many are investing in creating their own energy.  If not then they will buy renewable energy credits to create and offset the energy they are using.

  7. Energy efficiency isn't the way to save the planet (and may in fact be a bad thing, read up on Jevons paradox) but can help the economy.

Aside from specific efforts to reduce the power usage of laptops (which may be applied to other types of computers) along with the general energy efficiency improvements that come about as transistor sizes shrink (modern processors do a lot more work for their energy usage than old ones) and whatever is necessary to keep computers from melting (where increased efficiency is the best way to keep a computer cool it should be used) there's really not much that should be done since only laptops really have any great need to be energy efficient (since they have to run on batteries and batteries aren't anywhere near as good as we'd like them to be).

Advertising insignificant improvements in eco-friendliness may also be counter-productive as those who buy energy star appliances, carbon 'offset' their air travel (all the affordable carbon offsetting schemes are scams) and buy 'green' energy from their power company (also likely a scam) then become less likely to vote for the things that have a hope of actually solving the problem of global warming.

  8. The best way to increase greenery is by planting more and more trees.the energy consumptions can be bought down by using alternate sources of energy like solar energy wind energy and nuclear energ.

  9. The best way is to use kick wheels attached to alternater and charge battery, connected to computers at work stations !

    Can U Imagine the effect ! !

Healthy IT People, No energy consumption from normal sources, more green surroundings and of course last but not least you will get Corbun credits for having done this !  !  !

Plz dont hang this down as a joke contact if practical version is required.
