Any ideas for a high school English class bulletin board?

I am student teaching in a high school English classroom this fall. My cooperating teacher asked me to make a bulletin board of some sort. I don't know exactly what we will be teaching yet, but I do know there will be an emphasis on writing in the first part of the semester (although the bulletin board doesn't have to be about writing).

as a high school student myself, I enjoy reading little quotes or posters all around the room.  That is just my opinion, I don't really like to see what we are learning whereas I enjoy reading motivational quotes that get me thinking
