I am trying to organise a reunion in Leeds and would like ideas for a venue in central Leeds near the railway station. I would like either a lunchtime meal in a restaurant with a lobby area for drinks pre-meal,or a 'church type' hall to organise a buffet meal with sole-use facilities for lunch time.I estimate 30-40 persons in attendance. I am planning early to get the best possible venue.

  1. the queens hotel in leeds is right by the train station, literally round the corner, and I know they do special packages if there are a few of you.

Look them up and give them a call.

  2. park plaza its four stars its right across the road from the train station

  3. Why not try a venue finding agency? They can source a venue at no cost to you as they get commission from the venue the booking is placed with. I know venuehunt to be a reputable agency..........but there are many others out there. Also, as you are looking at Leeds...........have you thought about approaching the University..........I know they have 'meeting/conference' facilities and can do catering.

  4. The queens is a good option, they have many rooms available, also the Royal Armories is pretty good...depending on the type of thing you want a lot of bars in town hire rooms, such as revolution (vodka bar, pretty trendy) for parties up to 70... x

  5. TRY your local golf club, or church hall.

  6. Look at St Georges Crypt - they have a lovely refurbished function suite. Very modern, can do own food etc. near LGI so very central. Reasonable prices too
