Any ideas for a scrapbooking project i can do?

i'm going on a scapbooking weekend in a few weeks and i need a project to do while i'm there, preferably something off-the-page. i have basic supplies, anything i buy needs to be something you can get in your average scrapbooking shop, and i can spend about $50... i have mainly pictures of family and pets, but not many recent ones. any ideas please? thanks

Buy a cheap box at the $2 shop and concertina some cardboard to fit. Glue one end into the box and scrapbook photos onto each page of the book. You can stand the box up on a shelf and pull the concertina out as a photo board. Close it up when you don't want to use it. You could even scrapbook the outside of the box with photos as well if you wanted to.

i made a pet scrapbook the other month which i found all the supplies at kmart and it cost about $30

  Pick any day and take photos of family and pets.  Your pages can be called 'A Day in the Life'.  Just ordinary every day things.  People always highlight the 'big' days, so this would be a nice change.

If your looking for a theme -

The alphabet is always a fun one -

sort your pictures and put a one word discription -

then create a page around the picture or pictures with the same beginning letter- you could always include the first name of the person in the photo too.

then you will have 26 pages of a cute unique album =

for example

A - adorable, athletic, artistic, Alice, Art, Alan, Allison

it will be fun - making up the words and matching the photos - you'll see  - you can always use the dictionary for those hard to find words - like Z - use zoo - and have photos mounted with animal bodies to frame the faces in the photos - or Q - quiet, quaint, queasy (for an amusement ride or dare devil stunt photo.
