I'm in college and my parents recently moved from my hometown and this summer, I wanted to go live back in my hometown to see friends and because I have a job there. But since my parents don't live here anymore, my best friends parents offered me to stay with them in their spare bedroom. So this whole summer i've been living with my best friend and her parents, feeding me and treating me as their own. Now its the end of the summer and I would like to get them a gift or do something to thank them for all they've done for me. But i'm not sure what. Anyone have any thoughtful ideas? Remember, I'm a college student so i don't have a whole lot of money to spend.

  1. Do you have any pictures with you and your best friend or even better, a picture with her family?

You could purchase a pretty (but inexpensive) picture frame to put it in.

Go to you local Gift/Stationery store and pickup and inexpensive blank card or note cards. I think the value of a handwritten thank you, from the heart is very underrated! The note plus the memory captured in the photo, plus the thoughtfulness of the frame would be perfect!
