  1. Try a scavenger hunt with things outside.

Or try a CSI themed party.  Give them a crime scene and make them solve the who done it.

If they enjoy things like card battles, try Chaotic theme.

If you have girls, try a red carpet party.  Have all the girls dress up and rent a red carpet.  Do the interview and show a movie (High School Musical).  Serve them dinner on your good china.

    Good luck!

  2. For a fabulous range of winter tableware, decorations, favours and costumes... simply visit:

  3. There's LOTS you can do!

    Hollywood theme!

Set a red fabric or carpet out on the walkway or foyer, so when your friends enter, they'll be walking in on the red carpet.

Then you can go to Blockbuster and when you decide on the movies you want, get those cardboard popcorn buckets and get one for each person so each person has their own bucket of popcorn for the movies and get some big boxes of movie candy to pass around and share during the movie.  If they're sleeping over, tell them to bring their pillows and blankets to lounge out on during the movie.

After the movie is the "after" party. Hang up a white sheet to act like a backdrop.  Get some props, or ask your friends to bring some.  Things like boas, hats, anything fun and silly too!  Then you and your friends can pose with the props and each other and take pictures!  You'll all have fun with each other and the props and have some great pictures to show for it!

Then, before the party you can go to the crafts store and get some of the blank frames, the ones that have to be decorated.  You can get one for each girl, along with paint, glitter, stickers, etc and then you can all decorate them at the party and each person can take them home after the party as a favor, and put their favorite picture from the party in it!

For food, NO matter what party or party theme you do, for food, do what YOU like!  It's your birthday and your party, it's time for foods that you love and that are your favorites!  Don't serve foods that match a theme, you may end up not really liking just because it goes with a theme, this is a time to have what YOU love and what is your favorite!  If that's tacos, do a taco bar, if it's pizza, do that, etc.

You can set up an ice cream bar, so it's winter, if you like ice cream, go for it!  Get chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry ice cream and whatever else is your favorites and some toppings! Sprinkles, chocolate syrup, whipped cream, and marachino cherries and have everyone make their own sundaes.  You can get the plastic sundae glasses at the dollar store or the waffle cone bowls at the grocery store.

OR if you don't want that theme,

You can do a sit down dinner party.  You can make the dinner with your mom or order out, set the table with cloth napkins and a cloth tablecloth, etc and have a formal sit down dinner party with your friends!

    Or

Do a spa party.  You can ask an older sibling, cousin, your mom, or aunt to do you and your friends' hair, make-up, manicures, and pedicures.  If not, you and your friends can pair up and do it for each other.

Then, you can hang up the white sheet as a backdrop and then take pictures with your "new" looks and the props and then if you want to do the frames, decorate them and do the same thing as the hollywood party, decorate them and put your favorite picture from the party in them.  Just make sure your friends bring flip flops so they don't ruin their pedicures!

With any party you chose, you can also get a pinata.  Everyone likes candy! You can go to the party store and find one you like, and in the same aisle is what's called pinata filler, which are big bags of candy and they'll still be room for your own favorites.

    OR

DO a Winter Wonderland party!  Being your birthday's in winter you can do a winter themed party!  You can decorate in clear, white Christmas lights which you can get on sale everywhere that time of year and hang them on the ceilings and all around the room.

You can do things in an ice and snow theme.  Put some cotton batting in the corners of the room to make it look like snow,

You can also use the colors of a deep blue and silver as accents.

You can then do games and things.

    OR

Do a fun and games party!

You can ask your friends to bring their favorite board games and play them, along with charades, twister, truth or dare, a pinata, etc.

You can play the what if questions and ask each person to come up with questions before the party and go around the room asking everyone the questions.

You can still do the pinata, food, ice cream bar, movies, etc.  Make it fun and do what YOU want, it's YOUR birthday!

The ONLY thing I would not do is make it a Christmas theme.  Although it's that time of year, it's your birthday and it should remain separate from the holiday.  Your birthday should be a holiday in itself and it should be YOUR Birthday and your birthday alone!  Don't mix it with Christmas, you'll be celebrating Christmas in a few days after that, so make your party and your birthday different.  This is your day and it should remain that way and Christmas is Christmas and should remain that way. That's just my opinion.  I think your party and your birthday should be about YOU!

I hope some of these ideas help and that you have a great party and a very Happy Birthday!!

  4. well, obv. the theme would b kinda winter-ish. maybe u can get an ice sculpture, and have slushies and cold stuff for food. thats all i can think about rite now. go to this website for more info.

  5. How about a bonfire or fireworks so you can enjoy a little of the outside. You could have soup in a mug and hotdogs, and marshmellows melted by the fire. Your birthday cake could have sparklers on it.

Then you could go inside to play games like sports wii or guitar hero if you have a games console or watch a scary movie.

Party favors you could give out, soup sachet, hot chocolate sachet, marshmellows, mini sparklers, a CD with your favorite music on it.

  6. Indoor smores??

maybe get a fondue pot for chocolate and have your marshmellows and graham crackers that way

and just the typical 11 yr old party with music and whatever floats your boats
