Well it depends how many people are coming... If there are only a few then maybe just go to the movies or something and save the big party for your sweet 16. If a bigger amount maybe a bbq or something? Or there are fun games that involve big groups of people like paintball etc. Things like that and movies would take away any awkwardness as there isnt much talking to one another involved. =D

I had my 18th at McDonalds. .and it was fun.. with the kiddie games and all.
